Casegrader: Excel case #5

For the first time in casegrader we went more into the making of a chart. Previously, we had just made the chart and left it alone. Now, I had to work with the special "chart tools design tab" which is very powerful. It was needed to insert titles on both axes as well as above the chart. Of course, I was already familiar with this tab from class, but it was good practice. Thanks Professor!

Casegrader: Excel Case #4

It was exciting to finally start using some more functions outside of the sum function. In this case the average function and max functions were used. This was a pretty routine case, but it is important to keep on repeating many of the tools we have learned so that it will really stick with us. I think I am starting to get a hang on the fundamentals.

Casegrader: Excel #3

Again, we had already learned most of these tools, such as the sum function and the header, very well in class (thanks professor). Therefore, it was not too hard of an assignment. It took me a few tries to figure out what was wrong with my header, until I finally realized I wrote "displacement" instead of "replacement". We all make stupid mistakes sometimes. Otherwise, it was a good exercise. I love fact that you can drag that sum function over to consecutive columns. It's a tremendous tool to possess and makes things a lot quicker.

Assignment #6: Excel 2

I was very happy to see something new in this assignment. Again, most of the tools that were required we had already learned in class, such as "merge and center" and cell styles. This time, using the chart feature was also required, which was great. Creating a chart is an extremely useful tool that can help visualize a table. This feature is probably used often in preparing presentations and the like. I was excited to learn about it and hope we can do more of the same. It was also very cool looking.
